To create our exclusive assortment of Filipino baked treats, we use only the highest quality ingredients and thus no preservatives. Our goal was to give Aransas Pass and the Filipino community another tasty and unique food option.
UBE BOX is a family-owned bake stand in Aransas Pass that specializes in Filipino baked goods. Many of their Filipino dessert recipes have been passed down through the generations, and now the Aleman family, led by Juanita Davila-Aleman and her son Carlos Aleman, Jr., are baking these delicious treats for you.
Close family friends and relatives have always appreciated the Aleman Family's get-togethers because they enjoy delicious food and loving company, not to mention Juanita's wonderful delectables, which always seem to bring everyone together.
In the late 80s, Juanita, the daughter of a Filipino baker, Lorenzo Davila, owned and operated a similar bake shop near Victoria, Texas called "The Li'l Bakery," which specialized in donuts and pastries while also serving the occasional Smashburger, and homemade tortillas.
With the help of her son, Juanita revived the tiny bake stand concept with a Pinoy twist, dishing up their specialty Ube flavored pastries and more.
